Goa Gajah Temple
Goa Gajah Temple or also known as “Goa Gajah Temple” is a Hindu temple complex located in Bedulu, Bali, Indonesia. Goa Gajah literally means “elephant cave” in Indonesian, and the place was given such a name because there is a large elephant statue in front of the cave entrance. The temple complex has a long history, thought to have been built in the 11th century as a sacred place for spiritual wanderers. Goa Gajah has unique architecture with stone statues placed around the temple area, including statues of Hindu deities such as Ganesha and Hariti.
Besakih Temple
Besakih Temple is the largest and most sacred Hindu temple in Bali, Indonesia. Besakih Temple is located on the slopes of Mount Agung, and the temple complex consists of 23 small and large temples scattered around the complex. Besakih Temple is believed to have existed since prehistoric times, but the temple complex began to be built significantly in the 14th century.
